Located in New Westminster, PotteryWorks is an established pottery studio of artists with disabilities. Their mission is to empower people through artistic practice.
When we first launched Simon’s Soapbox in 2021, we focused on body soap. We approached PotteryWorks to ask if they could make us soap dishes to sell with our bar soap as a gift set for Christmas. Their enthusiastic support of our emerging business was an important part of us moving forward at the start of Simon’s Soapbox.

Since then, they’ve made many soap dishes and countless ramekins that we use for our solid dish soap. We get to pick our glazes from their seemingly infinite supply and brainstorm new things to try (like putting a “dish soap” stamp on the ramekin) We really value our relationship with this established pottery studio.
